A Year in Manchester: Recipe Pack
This print project consisted of a collection of 12 seasonal recipes designed for Visit Manchester, the official tourist board for the city. Award-winning chefs within the Greater Manchester area contributed their favourite recipes to form this limited edition pack - all of which used locally sourced suppliers. It acted as a good reminder of the farmers' markets and small independent retailers available on our door step.
Manchester China Forum
Manchester-China Forum was set up to increase connectivity between businesses in Greater Manchester and China. This will be done through a variety of activities such as seminars, guest speaker meetings and networking events for Forum members.
Based on traditional Chinese seals, I created a logo design which incorporated the organisation's name in both languages (English & Mandarin). Invitations and marketing collateral were also created to support the brand identity.
Manchester-China Forum was officially launched in Manchester by the then Chancellor George Osborne, followed by a second launch event in London.
CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids) Charity Website
CHICKS is a children's charity that aims to provide life enhancing respite breaks to as many disadvantaged children as possible at one of their centres in Devon or Cornwall. The old website had become outdated and needed Web 2.0 elements integrated into it. I designed and developed a new website using HTML, CSS and Joomla (an open source content management system) with the team at Bluestone360.
Shortly after its launch, the website was chosen as Site of the Month and was featured on the front page of Joomla's Community Showcase for the whole of October.
